Overview
For this project, a public event of personal interest was researched, and an interactive piece was designed to enhance the experience for attendees. The Great Paper Airplane Fly-off, an annual event in Arizona, was discovered, where families visit an air and space museum and participate in a paper airplane competition.
An idea was formed to create a piece featuring airplane folding instructions divided into three difficulty levels, helping families actively engage in the event. The instructions packet would be mailed to individuals who sign up for the event.
